Vandanā Chanting and Buddha Pūjā
Rituals and chanting can be a way to express our emotions, to form new and wholesome thought patterns, cultivate strength of Saddhā (Faith), inculcate a clear sense of reverence and a sense of fellowship with others. It can be used to restrain our sense faculties as well. We can feel gladdened and uplifted by the sense of aspirational belonging. A vadanā ceremony as taking the Three Refuges and Five Precepts and Buddha Puja has a valuable role in group situations as well as a personal and intimate feeling which brings a sense of the sacred into daily life.
